How to perform daily maintenance on CNC drilling and milling machines?

Routine maintenance

· Appearance cleaning: After each use of the CNC drilling and milling machine, chips, oil, dust and other debris on the surface of the machine tool should be cleaned in time. Use a clean rag to wipe the workbench, column, spindle box and other parts of the machine tool to keep the appearance of the machine tool clean. For oil stains that are difficult to remove, you can use an appropriate amount of detergent to wipe, but be careful to avoid the detergent entering the internal parts of the machine tool.

· Guide rail lubrication: The guide rail is a key component to ensure the accuracy of machine tool movement and needs to be lubricated regularly. Before starting the machine every day, the oil level in the guide rail lubricating oil tank should be checked to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range. If the oil level is insufficient, add lubricating oil in time. During the operation of the machine tool, pay attention to the lubrication condition of the guide rail. If there is any abnormality, stop the machine for inspection in time. Under normal circumstances, the guide rail needs to be fully lubricated and maintained every 200-300 working hours. You can use a manual oil injection gun or an automatic lubrication device to inject an appropriate amount of lubricating oil into the rail surface.

· Spindle maintenance: The spindle is one of the core components of a CNC drilling and milling machine. Its accuracy and performance directly affect the processing quality. During routine maintenance, pay attention to checking the operation of the spindle, including the spindle speed, sound, vibration, etc. If abnormal sound or vibration is found in the spindle, stop the machine immediately for inspection and troubleshooting. At the same time, the lubricating oil of the spindle should be replaced regularly, usually every 1000-1500 working hours. When replacing lubricating oil, drain the old oil first, then flush the inside of the spindle box with clean oil, and then add new lubricating oil to the specified oil level.

· Tool system inspection: The accuracy and reliability of the tool system are crucial to machining accuracy. Every time you replace a tool, carefully check whether the tool is firmly installed and whether the size and accuracy of the tool meet the requirements. Regularly check the storage status of tools in the tool library to ensure that the tools are arranged neatly to avoid damage caused by collisions between tools. For the automatic tool change system, check the operation of the tool change mechanism, including whether the clamping, loosening, transposition and other actions of the tool are accurate. If there are any problems, they should be adjusted or repaired in time.

· Electrical system inspection: Regularly inspect the electrical system of the CNC drilling and milling machine, including electrical components such as wires and cables, plugs and sockets, switch buttons, contactors, and relays. Check whether the wires are damaged or aged, whether the plugs and sockets are in good contact, and whether the switch buttons are flexible and reliable. At the same time, check the heat dissipation situation in the electrical cabinet to ensure that the electrical components are working within the normal temperature range. Prevent coolant, chips and other debris from entering the electrical cabinet to avoid electrical short circuit and other faults.
